This review is Spoiler-free.
For those of you haven’t heard of this movie, here’s why : It’s in Spanish. But if you have been following the Oscar nominations for the year, you will notice this movie in 6 categories including Best Foreign Film.
For a sense of just how well received this movie has been, here’s a figure that should be convincing enough: It earned a 98% on RottenTomatoes, a film critic website that I have consistently seen only slaughtering movies all around the place !
The movie holds you enthralled from start to finish, never for a second losing it’s charm or having you trying hard to believe. It is a flawless work of art, with visually stunning scenes and great screenplay, topped with amazing performances by all the actors.
Movies like ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ make you question Hollywood’s predominance in the world of film and watching it leaves you wondering just how many more amazing foreign films exist in the world, still out there

this movie was so full of art and wild ideas, its more powerfull than the wizard of oz
